Registration

Registration is open. Registration closes February 27.

To receive the member rate you must be a GSA member for 2026. Consider joining GSA and save hundreds on your registration fees. Your membership will become active within 20 minutes, and will remain valid through December 31, 2026. During the registration process, you will be asked to create a new account or sign in to an existing account. If you were a GSA member or attended a GSA conference in the last seven years, you already have a GSA account and should use the “forgot your password” option.

Letter of invitation – If you submitted an abstract you can access your letter of invitation for your visa application, through your author portal in the abstract submission program. If you did not submit an abstract, please send a request, with your full mailing address to gsaconferences@genetics-gsa.org and a letter will be emailed back to you.

Registration Fees

Registration fees are in US Dollars. To receive the member rate you must be a 2026 GSA member. If you join today, your membership will become active within 20 minutes and be valid through December 31, 2026. The meeting will be held all in-person. There is no virtual participation registration. Pre-meeting workshops are being offered which require advance registration. View the current list of workshops.

Manage Your Registration

Payment Options

Payment must be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) through the online registration process. Credit card payments will not be accepted by telephone or fax.

GSA does not accept purchase orders for registration payments.

Registration Resource Center

Visit the Registration Resource Center to add an event, update your contact information or print a receipt. You will need your badge number to access your record, which is listed in your registration confirmation email.

Cancellation

Do not click the “Cancel Registration” button on the registration form at any time. If you wish to request cancellation of your registration, contact gsaconferences@genetics-gsa.org. Cancellation requests received by January 22, 2026 are fully refundable and will not incur a cancellation fee. All cancellations received between January 23 and March 21, 2026 will not be eligible for a refund.

Do not cancel your registration if all you want to do is edit your registration form before you submit it. You can do that by navigating between pages using the “Back” and “Next” buttons.

Journals Publishing Discount

Get a $250 discount on APC/page charges at GENETICS and G3: Genes|Genomes|Genetics

First or corresponding authors who register to attend a 2026 GSA Conference can use the code GSA2026 for a $250 discount on page charges or APC for papers accepted in the GSA Journals. One code may be used per paper and must be entered at the time of paper submission to the journals. Staff will verify conference registration when files are uploaded post-acceptance. Submit papers December 1, 2025–May 31, 2026.

Papers presented at the 2026 conferences and published in the GSA Journals will be part of a special virtual collection!
