Meals are not included in the registration fee. Cash concessions will be available at the conference hotel daily for lunch in addition to the restaurants at the hotel. There are many dining options in the surrounding area that can accommodate all dining preferences and budgets.

This T-shirt shows an image of a fruit fly and the Chicago skyline. We have a whole collection of items available to commemorate your time at Dros 2026. Be sure to check out the GSA store! To pick up your T-shirt in person, make sure to order by January 21, 2026; they can be picked up at the registration desk beginning on March 4. The T-shirts are $30, which you’ll pay when you place the order during the online registration process.
Payment must be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) through the online registration process. Credit card payments will not be accepted by telephone or fax.
GSA does not accept purchase orders for registration payments.
Visit the Registration Resource Center to update your contact information, pay a balance due, add an item or print a receipt. You will need your badge number to access your record, which is listed in your registration confirmation email.
If you wish to request cancellation of your registration, contact gsaconferences@genetics-gsa.org.
Cancellation requests received by January 7, 2026 are fully refundable and will not incur a cancellation fee. All cancellations received between January 8, 2026 and February 2, 2026, will incur a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations received on February 2, 2026 or later will not be eligible for a refund.

First or corresponding authors who register to attend a 2026 GSA Conference can use the code GSA2026 for a $250 discount on page charges or APC for papers accepted in the GSA Journals. One code may be used per paper and must be entered at the time of paper submission to the journals. Staff will verify conference registration when files are uploaded post-acceptance. Submit papers December 1, 2025–May 31, 2026.
Papers presented at the 2026 conferences and published in the GSA Journals will be part of a special virtual collection!
