Meals and breaks 

UC Davis offers a variety of dining options for meeting attendees. The following restaurants and cafes will be available June 28–July 2 during the conference: 

  • Segundo Dining Commons serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day
  • Tercero Market open 9:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. every day
  • Scrubs Café in the Health Sciences District open weekdays, serving coffee 8:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., and the “weigh-and-pay” grill and hot/cold bar available 11:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Its menu changes daily.
  • Spokes Grill at the Silo open weekdays 10:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. 
  • Peet’s Coffee at the Silo open weekdays 7:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
  • Peet’s Coffee at the ARC and King Hall Coffee open weekdays 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

*All three Peet’s locations will be serving summer drinks: sparkling grapefruit cold brew, sparkling passion fruit tea, and sparkling lemonade.

  • Food trucks are scheduled to be at the Silo Patio each weekday. 

Arboretum

The campus offers many scenic, green areas attendees can enjoy during meals, sitting on a bench or eating picnic-style with other attendees while making connections. You can also stroll around the Arboretum during breaks or look at the beautiful and unique sculptures displayed around campus. An extended lunch break will allow for more in-depth networking as well as time to enjoy nature and decompress. 

Getting around campus

The city of Davis and the UC Davis campus have earned the name “Bicycle Capital” of the U.S.; bicycling is the preferred method of transportation. Read about their bicycle program and other transportation options here

Davis is one of four cities that make up Yolo County, offering a variety of activities and entertainment. Visitors can enjoy the city’s vibrant arts and dining scenes or explore nearby cities for even more fun. Whether you’re looking for exciting attractions, cultural experiences, or curated itineraries for a full getaway, you’ll find plenty of options here
