Worm Art Show

For 2025, in response to the current climate of scientific uncertainty, our theme is Resilience & Innovation: Art at the Edge of Scientific Uncertainty. This theme recognizes the challenges posed by funding shifts and evolving priorities, while also honoring the inventive ways scientists and artists adapt, collaborate, and drive discovery despite constraints.

We welcome all forms of worm-inspired art, including but not limited to microscopy images, sculpture, ceramics, glasswork, knitted worms, games, humorous memes, videos (microscopy or lab skits), and more. Your creativity makes this show a success!

The Worm Art show will take place during the poster sessions. Please bring your work and set up on the first day of the poster sessions. There will be a row of poster boards and tables on which to place items.

Submit your art work prior to the meeting at this Google form.

We look forward to seeing your innovative creations and making this year’s Worm Art Show a memorable success!

We will accept submissions up until June 27, 2025.

Notes:

• The artwork title and name should be placed near your work.
• Please put your name on the back of your work as well.
• It is preferable to mount your work on poster board or have it framed (reminder: we only have thumbtacks to mount).
• You are responsible for hanging and taking down your artwork before and after the meeting.
• The top videos will be shown at the awards ceremony and voted upon at the ceremony.
