Research Area Topics

To better reflect the diversity of Drosophila research represented at the meeting, the conference organizers are changing the way abstract submitters categorize their submissions. The submission process is open to a wider range of topics, many of which may have been keywords within a category in the past. All types of Drosophila research are welcome at the conference; the list of topics is an organizational aid for the abstract reviewers and a navigational aid for attendees browsing abstracts. If you can’t find a topic listed that matches your research, you can simply write your topic in the “other/emerging topic” text box during abstract submission. You can select up to three topics, in order of preference.

All abstracts submitted for oral presentations will be reviewed. Abstracts that are not selected for oral presentations will be programmed as posters.
