26th International Worm Meeting
The International Worm Meeting will bring together scientists at every career stage—from graduate students to senior investigators—to share research spanning the gamut of worm studies. Presentations will cover molecular and cell biology, development, evolution, and more. Attendees can hear from and interact with an outstanding lineup of invited speakers and participate in a wide range of professional development and networking events. Whether you’ve been part of the worm community for years or are joining us for the first time, we welcome you to register and join us in Kobe to connect with researchers from around the world.
Worm 2027 will be held at the Kobe Convention Center in Kobe, Japan. A walkable, multicultural port city located on the Osaka Bay, Kobe is best known for its namesake beef, scenic views that harmoniously blend nature with innovative architecture, and its mix of international influences. Sydney Brenner Dissertation Thesis Award
The Sydney Brenner Dissertation Thesis Award will be presented in 2027 to a graduate student who has completed an outstanding PhD research project in the area of genetics and genomics of C. elegans.
DeLill Nasser Award for Professional Development in Genetics
The DeLill Nasser Award supports scientists studying genetics who are GSA members in their graduate or postdoctoral career stages by providing $1,000 to fund participation in conferences and laboratory courses.
