Weather

Temperatures average from 73°F (23°C) at night to 89°F (31°C) during the day in July. There is a good probability of rain so pack a compact umbrella or light rain jacket.

Smoking

Indoor and street smoking is prohibited. You can only smoke outdoors in designated glass booths.

Electricity

Japan uses Type A power outlets with two flat parallel prongs. Attendees from the United States will not need an adaptor; however, Europeans and attendees from other parts of the world will need one to plug in their devices. 

Time Zone and Daylight

Kobe’s time zone is the Japan Standard time zone which is Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) plus 9 hours. At the time of the conference, you can expect daylight from 5:00 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
