About #PEQG22

The 2022 Population, Evolutionary, and Quantitative Genetics Conference promotes cross-disciplinary exchange between researchers doing theoretical and experimental work in these broad fields. Building on the successes of #PEQG20, #PEQG18, and #PEQG16, the 2022 conference will span a diverse array of topics across Evolutionary Genetics, Population Genetics, Quantitative Genetics, and Science & Society. In addition to the invited speakers in the Plenary Sessions and abstract-driven Platform Sessions, the 2022 meeting will feature an Equity and Inclusion Plenary Session, the James F. Crow Award Symposium, and a wide range of professional development and networking events.

Virtual Attendance

We would love to see everyone at Asilomar, though we realize some may not be able to travel. For those who can’t make it to #PEQG22 in Pacific Grove, virtual registration will offer opportunities to present as well as online access to abstract-driven oral presentations, poster PDFs, professional development events, and more.

Awards

James F. Crow Early Career Researcher Award

The James F. Crow Early Career Researcher Award recognizes students and recent PhDs conducting population, evolutionary, or quantitative genetics research. Finalists for the Crow Award will present their work at #PEQG22 in a high-profile Plenary session. Applications are due January 12, 2022.

Low- and Middle-Income Country Waiver

Virtual participant registration fees for full-time residents of any country on the World Bank Low-income Economies or United Nations Least Developed Country list will be waived.
