Oral Presentation Guidelines
All speakers (other than workshop presenters) must visit the Speaker Ready Room to upload and test their presentation slides the day BEFORE their talk.
The Speaker Ready Room is located in the Camellia Room of the Gaylord National Harbor Convention Center, on the Ballroom level.
You must arrive at the meeting room 30 minutes BEFORE the start of your session in order to check in with the session chair. Files cannot be uploaded in the meeting room where you will give your presentation.
Types of Oral Presentations at TAGC:
- Keynote Talks are given by invited speakers for a total of 30 minutes, which includes up to five minutes of Q&A. Rehearsals for keynote speakers will be held on Wednesday, April 22 and Friday, April 24. Keynote speakers will be contacted individually to set up a specific rehearsal date and time.
- Oral Presentations (platform and plenary talks) are selected after careful review of submitted abstracts in a given topic. Oral presentations are presented in either Thematic or Community Sessions. The total presentation time for each talk is 15 minutes (12-minute talk followed by 3 minutes of Q&A)
- Workshop Presentations: Workshop presenters should consult their workshop organizer for further details. You should NOT upload your workshop slides in the Speaker Ready Room.
