Registration

Registration is now open.

During the registration process, you will be asked to create a new account or sign in to an existing account. If you were a GSA member or attended a GSA conference in the last seven years, you already have a GSA account and should use the “forgot your password” option if you do not remember your login information. To receive the member rate you must be a GSA member for 2024. If you join today, your membership will become active within 20 minutes and be valid through December 31, 2024.

In-person Participant Registration Fee includes: 

  • All keynote, plenary, and platform sessions
  • All in-person workshops
  • All professional development workshops
  • Networking socials
  • Poster sessions
  • Complimentary participation in virtual pre- and post-conference workshops, based on availability (Must register in advance)
  • Opening Mixer
  • Exhibits
  • Conference App for desktop, laptop, and mobile devices
  • Unique login information to register for workshops and participate in virtual meeting activities through the Conference App
  • Access to all posters (and audio commentary, where available) through the Conference App for 30 days
  • Access to all Plenary and Platform session recordings and abstract-driven oral presentation recordings through the Conference App for 30 days
  • PDF of abstract book
  • PDF of program book
  • Networking opportunities via the Conference App and Zoom

Meals

Meals are not included in the registration fee. A package lunch plan (including a vegetarian option)  for Thursday through Saturday is available for $105. The meal plan must be ordered on the registration site by January 18. It cannot be purchased on-site. Lunch tickets will not be refundable. Lunch will be served in the Exhibit Hall.

If you do not purchase the lunch plan, there are many dining options in the surrounding area that can accommodate all dining preferences and budgets.

Low- and Middle-Income Country Waiver

Virtual participant registration fees for full-time residents of any country with low-income and middle-income economies will be waived. Please complete the waiver application by December 6, 2023 to receive information on how to register for virtual attendance.

Manage Your Registration

Payment Options

Payment must be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) through the online registration process. Credit card payments will not be accepted by telephone or fax.

GSA does not accept purchase orders for registration payments.

Registration Resource Center

Visit the Registration Resource Center to update your contact information, pay a balance due, add an item or print a receipt. You will need your badge number to access your record, which is listed in your registration confirmation email.

Registration Change Policy:

Registrants may change their registration from in-person to virtual or from virtual to in-person until January 3, 2024.

Cancellation

If you wish to request cancellation of your registration, contact at gsaconferences@genetics-gsa.org.

Cancellation requests received by January 3, 2024 are fully refundable and will not incur a cancellation fee. All cancellations received between January 4, 2024 and February 1, 2024, will incur a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations received on February 2, 2024 or later will not be eligible for a refund. 

There is no additional fee to change your registration from in-person to online attendance or vice versa. If switching from online to in-person you will be responsible for the difference in the registration price at the time of the change. Requests for changes in participation type should be sent to GSA no later than January 18, 2024.
