Early Career Scientist Multimedia Subcommittee

The Multimedia Subcommittee aims to communicate genetics research to a broad audience in an easily accessible format. Members work together to develop their scientific communication and outreach skills by curating multimedia content such as podcasts and infographics.

Goals:

  • Highlight recent research from the GSA journals and share the story behind the work. Using multimedia platforms to make genetics studies more accessible to an interdisciplinary community of scientists.

Initial Projects: 

  • Create Genetics in Your World podcasts, where scientific articles published in GSA journals will be featured and discussed.
  • Provide multimedia support for the projects of the Early Career Scientist subcommittees.
